At the EMS Foundation, our vision is clear:
Enhancing paramedic care for Albertans. Through our grant programs, we support initiatives that advance innovation, promote paramedic and community wellness, and strengthen emergency medical services across Alberta.
Our mission guides everything we do:
To enhance excellence in paramedic care by supporting innovation and research, promoting paramedic wellness, and delivering community-focused programs.
The EMS Foundation provides funding to non-profit organizations and projects that align with our mission and values. We fund projects that make Alberta communities safer, healthier, and more resilient—especially those that support paramedics, emergency services, and the well-being of the public.
To be eligible, projects must:
- Clearly demonstrate a need for financial support to enhance emergency medical services.
- Ensure alignment with the EMS Foundation's mission and values.
- Present detailed plans and measurable outcomes for the proposed project.
- While priority is given to funding requests from registered non-profits, it is not a mandatory requirement.
